HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL
WHAT IS P.R.I.M.E.
PREPARATION
We prepare students intentionally for the academic rigor of college and the responsibilities of adult life. Preparation at Hamilton means building strong habits, mastering foundational skills, and developing the readiness to meet high expectations with confidence.
RESPONSIBILITY
Students are expected to take ownership of their actions, choices, and learning. Responsibility is central to character development and leadership, and it is reinforced through clear expectations, accountability, and integrity.
INDEPENDENCE
We cultivate independent thinkers who can analyze critically, make informed decisions, and think for themselves. Intellectual independence empowers students to engage with ideas thoughtfully and to grow into confident learners.
MOTIVATION
Effort matters. We value disciplined effort, perseverance, and internal motivation. Students are encouraged to push themselves, embrace challenges, and understand that sustained effort is the foundation of achievement.
EXPRESSION
Clear thinking requires clear expression. We emphasize strong writing, effective speaking, and precise communication across all disciplines, preparing students to articulate ideas with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
